I've never done anything like this. Is it hard?

If you can match a number, you can do this. The canvas is printed with a numbered grid and each pearl colour has its own number — you pick up a pearl with the wax stylus, press it onto its square, repeat. No skill, no drawing, no experience needed. Most people get into a rhythm within the first ten minutes.

Do I need glue or anything extra?

Nothing. The canvas comes pre-coated with an adhesive layer under a protective film — you peel back a section, press the pearls in, and they stay. No glue, no drying time, no mess to clean up. Everything you need is in the box: canvas, sorted pearls, tray, wax and stylus.

How long does one take to finish?

Most people finish in a few relaxed evenings. There's no rush and no deadline — you can stop mid-row, cover it back up, and pick it up the next night exactly where you left off. That's half the appeal: it's a reason to put the phone down for an hour.

Is the frame included?

No — the kit includes everything you need to make the artwork, but not a frame. That's deliberate: it keeps the price down and lets you choose a frame that actually matches your shelf. The canvas fits standard off-the-shelf frame sizes, so any craft or home store will have one. It also leans beautifully against books unframed.

Will the pearls fall off over time?

Once pressed in, they're set. The adhesive is strong enough to hold permanently on a shelf or wall. If you want extra security for a piece you'll move around a lot, a light coat of clear sealant locks it in for good — but for a finished piece sitting on a shelf, it isn't necessary.
